Tuesday Volleyball: Tatum Still Unbeaten in District + More

HUGHES SPRINGS -- The Tatum Lady Eagles remained unbeaten in District 15-3A with a 25-8, 26-24, 25-22 sweep of Hughes Springs on Tuesday.

Essence Allen led Tatum (27-6, 12-0) with 18 kills, 11 assists, and nine digs. Ashton Brown added 12 kills, 15 assists, and six digs, while Adrianna Bradley chipped in with 13 digs.

Tatum plays host to Jefferson on Friday.

Alba-Golden Outlasts Lone Oak

ALBA -- The Alba-Golden Lady Panthers evened their District 12-3A record by outlasting Lone Oak, 23-25, 25-21, 14-25, 26-24, 15-9 on Tuesday night.

Ginny Carson led Alba-Golden (5-5 in district) with 20 kills, three blocks, and 22 digs. Macie Pendergrass added six kills and two blocks, Kalli Wright finished with four kills, two blocks, two aces, and four digs, Madi Bryant had four kills and 10 digs, while Bralee Littlejohn racked up 22 assists.

Alba-Golden travels to Grand Saline on Friday.

Beckville Rolls Past San Augustine

BECKVILLE -- The Beckville Ladycats cruised to a 25-2, 25-6, 25-3 sweep of San Augustine in District 20-2A action Tuesday.

Allison Baker led Beckville (33-7, 10-0) with 10 kills and one dig. Jordan Tondreau added nine kills, two assists, and three digs, Miranda Mize had six kills, a block, one ace, and five digs, Kinley Pepper finished with 29 assists, three aces, and two digs, while Courtlyn Nail chipped in with seven digs.

Beckville plays host to Garrison on Friday.
