Roundup: Spring Hill Tops Gladewater + White Oak, Big Sandy Cruise to Big Wins

LONGVIEW -- Clay Lattier scored 11 points to lead the Spring Hill Panthers past Gladewater, 43-36, Friday night in District 16-3A action.

Adam Lattier added nine points and 13 rebounds, while Ben Brundrett chipped in with eight points and 11 boards for Spring Hill (11-5, 2-0).

Spring Hill continues its season next weekend at the Barbers Hill tournament.

No. 1 White Oak Rolls To 90-45 Rout Of Union Grove

WHITE OAK -- Skylar Sutton scored 22 points and Slade Sutton added 16 as the top-ranked White Oak Roughnecks cruised past Union Grove, 90-45, on Friday night in the District 17-2A opener.

Kris Anderson and Hayden Nichols each had 14 for points for White Oak, which improved to 14-0 on the young season.

The Roughnecks continue their season next weekend at the Tenaha tournament.

Big Sandy Cruises To District-Opening Win

BIG SANDY -- Joshua Jackson poured in 31 points to lead the Big Sandy Wildcats to a 75-55 rout of Overton on Friday in the DIstrict 17-A opener.

Matt Easley and Isaiah Johnson each had 15 points for Big Sandy (12-2, 1-0), while Taurus Keppard chipped in with 10.

Big Sandy continues its season next Thursday at the Hawkins Classic.
