Six East Texas football players will get one final high school game at the Texas High School Coaches Association all-star game.

Whitehouse receiver Dylan Cantrell, Gilmer offensive lineman Brady English, Daingerfield athlete Edwin Mims, Lufkin receiver JaBryce Taylor, Hallsville offensive lineman Hayden Wall, and Longview defensive tackle Cornelius Williams were selected to the North squad.

The game is 7 p.m. July 30 at TCU's Amon Carter Stadium in Fort Worth. Bullard coach Shannon Wilson served as the Class 3A representative on the six-man North team selection committee.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Cantrell, a Texas Tech signee, caught 66 catches for 1,396 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior, when Whitehouse finished 10-2 with a second-round Class 4A Division II Region II playoff appearance. English (6-3, 250) led a Gilmer offensive front that helped the Buckeyes reach the Class 3A Division II state championship game.

The 5-foot-9, 165-pound Mims did it all for Daingerfield, leading the Tigers to the Class 2A Division I state championship game. The Navarro College signee amassed 625 passing yards, 5 touchdown passes, and four interceptions, while rushing 144 times for 975 yards and nine touchdowns. He caught 54 passes for 883 yards eight touchdowns and also returned a punt for a score.

The SMU-bound Taylor (6-2, 185) was one of East Texas' top playmakers, leading the region in receiving yards (1,628), while finishing second in receptions (87) and fifth in receiving touchdowns (16) for the 9-4 Panthers, who reached the Class 5A Division II Region II semifinals. The 6-foot-4, 270-pound Wall anchored Hallsville's offensive line at left tackle, where he helped the Bobcats finish 7-4 with their first back-to-back playoff appearances since 2005-06.

Williams was a front-line stalwart for the Lobos, who went 9-4 with a Class 5A Division II Region II semifinal appearance. Williams had 84 tackles, a team-high 17 for loss, and three sacks from his defensive tackle spot before double-signing with Navarro College and Texas A&M-Commerce.
