TYLER -- The No. 3 White Oak Ladynecks swept Tyler Bishop Gorman 25-17, 25-19, 25-19 on Thursday in non-district volleyball action.

Audrey Lunstedt led the way with six kills. Taylor Tramel added four kills and 17 digs, Madison Pecot had four kills, Cayman Sutton provided 12 assists and Makenzie Goll finished with 16 digs.

White Oak (8-2) continues its season Tuesday at John Tyler, while Bishop Gorman plays at Carlisle on Friday.

Bullard, Beckville Win Twice At Overton Tournament

OVERTON -- The Bullard Lady Panthers won a pair of pool-play matches Thursday at the Overton Tournament.

Bullard defeated Carlisle 25-21, 25-15. Mackenzie Fish had six kills, Ashley Searcy added four kills, two blocks and two aces, while Mallory McCoy had eight assists and two aces, Madi Hodges, Katie Cole and Maddy Davis combined for 24 digs.

The Lady Panthers then defeated Cross Roads 25-17, 25-16. Fish had seven kills, Rachel Kelley added 11 assists, Searcy had six kills and Hodges registered seven digs.

Bullard resumes its season Friday at home against Troup before returning to Overton at 11 a.m. Saturday to face Waskom in bracket play.

Beckville also won a pair of matches at the Overton Tournament, defeating Sabine 22-25, 25-18, 25-20 and West Rusk 25-13, 25-10.

In the win over Sabine, Ivy Rieke led the way with 10 kills, two blocks, six digs and two aces. Carson Blair added nine kills, eight digs and four aces, Taylor Lindsay had four kills, two blocks and 12 digs and Kassidy Alexander finished with 27 assists and eight digs.

Blair had 11 kills, four digs and two aces against West Rusk. Rieke provided seven kills, a block and five digs and Alexander had 21 assists.

Beckville returns to Overton for championship bracket play at noon Saturday.

Gary went 1-1 in Overton, losing to New Diana 25-16, 23-25, 25-11 and defeating Pittsburg 25-13, 25-23.

Gary was led by Collyn Pinkerton, who finished with 17 kills, four blocks and seven digs in the two matches. Ryley Beckham added 14 kills, one block and 17 digs, Josey Greer had 40 assists, five kills and seven digs and Railey Daniels finished with 21 digs, six kills and two assists.

Gary (4-4) returns to action in Overton at noon Saturday in the championship bracket.

Carthage Sweeps Three Opponents at ETBU Tournament

MARSHALL -- Carthage made quick work of three opponents Thursday at the ETBU Tournament.

The Lady Dogs beat Kilgore 25-21, 25-17 before downing Daingerfield 25-15, 25-13. Carthage wrapped up its three-win day with a 25-14, 25-20 victory vs. Nacogdoches.

Carthage, which is off Friday, enters Saturday's ETBU Tournament action with an 8-4 record and a four-match winning streak. The Lady Dogs beat Whitehouse in four games Tuesday at Wildcat Arena.

Eustace Wins Twice At Own Tournament

EUSTACE -- The Eustace Lady Bulldogs won twice Thursday in pool play at the Eustace Tournament, defeating North Dallas 25-8, 25-9 and Mabank 25-6, 25-9.

In the win over North Dallas, Peyton Dibari had four kills and three aces, Mackenzie Abbott finished with three kills, Crystal Garza added five assists and Raleigh Smallwood had four assists and three aves.

Dibari also led the way in Eustace's victory over Mabank with seven kills and three aces. Caitlyn Culp added seven kills and one ace, while Garza registered 10 assists.

Eustace returns to action Saturday with bracket play.

Ore City Goes 1-1 At Big Sandy Tourney

BIG SANDY -- Ore City went 1-1 on Thursday in pool play at the Big Sandy Tournament.

Ore City defeated Winona 25-23, 25-17 and lost to Big Sandy 25-11, 25-13.

The Lady Rebels, who finished second in their pool, are back in action in Big Sandy at 1 p.m. Saturday.
