There wasn't much Eliya Garrett-Enis didn't do defensively Friday.

The linebacker finished with 16 tackles, three for loss, a sack, two forced fumbles and three recovered fumbles, including one which he returned for a touchdown. Oh, and he blocked a punt.

Garrett-Enis' effort was a large reason why Emory Rains defeated Howe, 41-7. He is the Week 6 ETSN.fm + Dairy Queen Defensive Player of the Week, following Pittsburg's Camryn Edney, who took the award in Week 5.

Rains improved to 3-2 and 1-1 in District 5-3A Division I with the victory and will next face Bonham at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Bonham.
