The Jasper Bulldogs are off to a 6-0 start to the 2018 season, and among the biggest reasons why has been the play of junior running back Montavien Hunt.

In last week's 34-24 win over West Orange-Stark, Jasper's biggest victory to date, Hunt was virtually unstoppable.

The Bulldogs' back finished with 360 yards and four touchdowns on 23 carries in helping Jasper (6-0) take down WO-S, which has reached the state championship game in each of the previous four seasons.

For his efforts. Hunt is the ETSN.fm/Dairy Queen Offensive Player of the Week. He follows last week's winner, Palestine running back Jeremiah Davis.

On the season, Hunt has rushed for 1,176 yards and 15 touchdowns.

He and his Bulldogs teammates open District 9-4A Division II on Friday at home against Shepherd (4-2).
