TYLER -- Tyler Bishop Gorman’s chance to claim the third playoff seed in TAPPS Division II District 2 was denied by Tyler Grace on Friday night, as the Cougars came away with a 45-39 win in Gorman’s final regular season game.

LONGVIEW -- TJ Cole ran for 225 yards and two touchdowns and No. 9 Pleasant Grove erupted in the second half to beat Spring Hill, 48-31, on Friday night in a District 7-4A Division II matchup.

Longview forced three turnovers, scored on special teams, and dominated Rockwall-Heath, 49-7, to clinch homefield in the first round of the playoffs.

TEXARKANA — Decorian Phillips threw for 378 yards and six touchdowns to help Liberty-Eylau climb into the driver’s seat of District 7-4A Division I.

TEAGUE – The No. 5-ranked Malakoff Tigers saw a 20-game regular game winning streak end with a 35-14 loss to the Teague Lions on Friday at Lion Stadium.
