MONT BELVIEU -- Spring Hill rebounded from a 69-65 loss to Baytown Goose Creek Memorial with a 46-39 victory over New Caney on Friday at the Gulf Coast Classic.

Spring Hill (13-7), ranked 23rd in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Class 3A poll, got a big day from Ben Brundrett, who had 18 points and 12 rebounds in the seven-point win over New Caney. Brundrett had 22 points and six boards in the four-point loss to Goose Creek Memorial.

Adam Lattier had eight points, five rebounds, and three assists in the win, followed by Matt Williams' seven points and two steals. Clay Lattier contributed four points, six rebounds, and three assists.

In the loss, Clay Lattier had 19 points and four assists, while Adam Lattier had five points, 16 rebounds, and five assists. Kendon Womack scored 10 points. Williams scored six.

Isaiah Johnson Leads Big Sandy to 53-46 Victory vs. Bogata Rivercrest

HAWKINS -- Isaiah Johnson scored 19 points to lead Big Sandy to a 53-46 win against Bogata Rivercrest at the Hawkins Classic on Friday.

Matt Easley added 11 points for Big Sandy (14-2), while Joshua Jackson scored 10 points. Taurus Keppard scored six points.

Beckville Splits Games at Overton Tournament

OVERTON -- Beckville beat New Summerfield 39-35 on Friday morning before falling 46-31 to West Rusk later in the day at the Overton Tournament.

Ivy Rieke led Beckville (10-9) with 14 points and four rebounds against New Summerfield, while Maya Bradford had 11 points, five rebounds, and four steals. New Summerfield's Simone Derrett scored 17 points. Teammate Crystal Zuniga had seven points.

Bradford led Beckville with 14 points and five rebounds in the loss to West Rusk. Devin Woodall had seven points and four rebounds.
