Beckville Reaches Regional Final With Sweep of Iola

LONGVIEW – The Beckville Ladycats are one win from the state volleyball tournament.

Beckville swept Iola, 25-17, 25-15, 26-24, Friday afternoon in their Class 2A Region III semifinal at Lobo Coliseum.

The Ladycats (39-8) will play Jewett Leon at 2 p.m. Saturday for the regional championship.

Jordan Tondreau led Beckville with 11 kills, two assists, and 23 digs. Payton Jones added nine kills and 15 digs, and Miranda Mize had seven kills and one block.

Allison Baker finished with five kills and nine digs, Kinsley Rivers had five kills, Kinley Pepper added 30 assists, two aces, and 35 digs, while Courtlyn Nail chipped in with two aces and 20 digs.
