JACKSONVILLE -- The 10th-ranked Jacksonville Indians improved to 30-0 on the season with a 54-44 win over Corsicana on Friday night.

Dadrian Franklin led the Indians (7-0 in District 16-4A) with 15 points. Raybon Riden added nine points in the win.

Corsicana (21-8, 3-4) was led by Dzifa Mallett's 12 points. Mike Lewis added 11 and Ernest McGhee had nine.

Jacksonville will look to continue its perfect season Tuesday at home against Nacogdoches.

Hallsville Grabs Big Win Over Pine Tree

HALLSVILLE -- Hallsville came away with a 46-42 win over Pine Tree on Friday, pulling the Bobcats even with Pine Tree for fourth place in the District 14-4A standings.

Nolan Faires led Hallsville (11-17, 3-4) with 19 points, while Cody Blankenship added 12.

Caleb Chumley's 14 points sparked Pine Tree (10-19, 3-4). Robert Hines chipped in with 13 points in the losing effort.

Hallsville is at Sulphur Springs on Tuesday, while Pine Tree plays host to Marshall.

Spring Hill Rolls to Rout of Henderson

HENDERSON -- Clay Lattier had 23 points to lead the Spring Hill Panthers past Henderson, 82-37, Friday night in District 16-3A action.

Ben Brundrett added 20 points, seven rebounds and a block for Spring Hill (19-10, 7-3). Kendon Womack collected 10 points, while Adam Lattier registered nine points and seven boards. Matt Williams added four points and seven assists in the win.

Henderson fell to 3-20 overall and 2-7 in district.

Spring Hill plays host to Gilmer on Tuesday, while Henderson is at Bullard.

Mexia Has No Trouble With Palestine

MEXIA -- Curk Harris had 18 points, leading Mexia to a 62-46 win over Palestine on Friday in District 19-3A action.

Damion Matthews added 16 points and Ike Jones had 15 for Mexia (16-11, 4-2).

Shumauri Scott paced Palestine (10-15, 3-3) with 12 points. Ben Luckett added 11.

Palestine is back in action Friday at home against Fairfield.

Quitman Takes Down Edgewood

EDGEWOOD -- Jake Jackson had 13 points in Quitman's 53-40 win over Edgewood on Friday in District 14-2A competition.

Jacob Harley and Lenzie Foley added 10 points apiece for Quitman (16-10, 7-4).

Eugene Dillard led Edgewood (19-10, 8-3) with 14 points, four rebounds, three assists and four steals. Jackson Tyner added four points and 11 rebounds in the losing effort.

Quitman plays host to Alba-Golden on Tuesday, while Edgewood is at Winnsboro.

Eighth-Ranked San Augustine Rips Brookeland

BROOKELAND -- JaCourtney Thomas scored 19 points, leading No. 8 San Augustine to an easy 94-26 win over Brookeland on Friday in District 23-A Division I action.

Desmond Randle added 16 points for San Augustine (16-5, 7-0). JaMikel Roberts had 15 points, Zhikavan Wilson had 11 and Jarvis Smith produced a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

San Augustine led 40-4 after the first quarter. Brookeland fell to 1-6 in district.

The Wolves are back in action at home Tuesday against Lufkin Pineywoods Academy.

No. 12 LaPoynor Hits Century Mark Against Beckville

LARUE -- James Jackson had 21 points and 12 rebounds to spark 12th-ranked LaPoynor's 100-28 rout of Beckville on Friday night.

Octavious Creer added 17 points, nine assists and six steals for the Flyers (23-5, 9-1). Ashton Abendroth registered 15 points and six steals, while Wade Lang and Deon Johnson combined for 26 points.

LaPoynor's season resumes Tuesday at home against Carlisle, while Beckville faces Big Sandy on the road.

Big Sandy Hands Martin's Mill Second Straight Loss

MARTIN'S MILL -- Isaiah Johnson had 22 points, leading Big Sandy to a 58-49 win over Martin's Mill on Friday in District 17-A Division I action.

Joshua Jackson added 18 points for Big Sandy, which improved to 20-4 overall and 7-2 in district.

Martin's Mill (17-10, 8-2), which dropped its second consecutive game after beginning 8-0 in district, was led by Hunter Conway's 12 points. July Latimer and Davis Moore combined for 21 points in the losing effort.

Martin's Mill plays host to Overton on Tuesday.

No. 17 Douglass Defeats No. 15 Laneville

DOUGLASS -- Bryce Westbrook scored 31 points to lead 17th-ranked Douglass to a 59-46 win over No. 15 Laneville on Friday in a District 25-A Division II showdown.

Reed Westbrook added 11 points for Douglass, which improved to 22-6 overall and 7-3 in district.

Kendrick Anderson and Donta Harris had 15 points apiece for Laneville (18-8, 5-4). Ty Johnson added 10 points in the losing effort.

Douglass returns to action Tuesday at No. 7 Oakwood. Laneville plays host to Kennard.
