LIBERTY CITY -- Quarterback Dylan Gale and receiver Jansen McCurdy connected early and often to propel White Oak to a 55-20 rout of Sabine on Friday night.

McCurdy caught six passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns to eclipse the 1,000-yard receiving mark for the second consecutive season. Gale completed 14 of 22 passes for 342 yards and four touchdowns.

Gale enters Friday night's regular-season finale at home against Jefferson with a 24-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio and 2,226 passing yards. The win against Sabine (1-8, 0-4) pushed White Oak to 8-1 overall and 3-1 in District 9-2A Division I.

Gale's other touchdown toss went to fellow senior Hayden Nichols, who caught three passes for 27 yards. Running back Riley Lakin ran 10 times for 55 yards and a touchdown as he broke the 1,000-yard mark for the season. Brett Debaca led White Oak with 83 yards on only five carries.

Gabe Michael caught two passes for 45 yards. Josh Benson snagged two passes for 44 yards.
