There wasn't a spot on the field Josh Williams didn't impact this past week.

Williams, a defensive back for Palestine, recorded 13 tackles, two tackles for loss, a fumble recovery, an interception and blocked an extra point that resulted in two points for the Wildcats. His efforts not only earned Palestine a 41-21 victory against Center, but also gave him the ETSN.fm + Dairy Queen Defensive Player of the Week.

He follows Jefferson's Eric Gipson, who won the award last week.

Williams lead the Wildcats with 68 tackles and 12 for a loss this season. The interception and fumble recovery were both firsts this year.

The win improved the Wildcats to 3-3. They have a home game against Bullard on Friday to try to get their record above .500.
