Beckville Advances with Four-Game Win Over Dodd City

EMORY -- Taylor Lindsay had 14 kills and 16 digs, while Carson Blair added 12 kills and 16 digs to power Beckville to a 25-19, 25-20, 9-25, 25-14 win against Dodd City in Thursday's Class A Region III area volleyball playoff.

Beckville (22-11) faces Fruitvale at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Big Sandy in a 1A Region III quarterfinal match.

Emma Smith had 19 assists for the Ladycats, who got eight kills and 16 digs from Shelbi Dodson. Ivy Rieke had a big night with seven kills, 16 digs, and nine aces, and Maya Bradford contributed nine digs.
