Pollok Central

POLLOK -- It only took Pollok Central four innings to scratch out a District 22-3A win against Corrigan-Camden. The Lady Dogs won 15-0. Katelyn Boles earned the win for Pollok Central and came close to recording an abridged perfect game. She recorded 11 strikeouts and allowed one hit.

CARTHAGE -- Senior pitcher Samantha Clakley pitched a shutout and the Lady Dawgs topped an always-strong Lufkin Hudson program, 5-0, in District 19-4A's Tuesday slate of games.

East Texas Players On TABC All-Region Teams (* -- indicates all-state selection)

HENDERSON -- The Carthage Lady Dawgs rolled to a 12-2, five-inning win over Henderson in their District 19-4A opener on Tuesday night.

JOAQUIN -- Hemphill made the most of its time Friday at Joaquin's Border Bash Tournament with wins against Broadus and Alto. The Hornets (5-0) opened the day with a 4-3 victory against Broadus. Lefty Andrew Wood faced 27 batters and struck out nine in six innings of work.
