Carlisle’s Gerald Turner is the ETSN.fm + Dairy Queen Offensive Player of the Week

The Carlisle Indians continue to dominate the opposition, and senior quarterback Gerald Turner has had a major hand in the week-to-week success.

In last week's 55-12 win over Alto, Turner accounted for 301 yards and five touchdowns, helping No. 7 Carlisle remain unbeaten in District 10-2A Division I.

For his efforts, Turner is the ETSN.fm/Dairy Queen Offensive Player of the Week. He follows last week's winner, Daingerfield quarterback Jakauri Woods.

Against Alto, Turner completed 8 of 14 passes for 138 yards and three touchdowns, and added 163 yards and two touchdowns on 12 rushing attempts.

Turner and his Carlisle (7-0, 2-0) teammates play at Union Grove (6-1, 1-1) this Friday night.
