The number of ranked East Texas boys basketball teams grew from 15 to 17 with Monday's release of the latest Texas Association of Basketball Coaches polls.

Chapel Hill (17-7) jumped into the Class 3A rankings at No. 22, while West Sabine (15-3) was ranked No. 23 in Class A Division I. In Class A Division II, Chireno (18-7) jumped to No. 15 following last week's win over No. 10 Laneville (17-8).

Kennard was the only boys team to fall out of this week's rankings. The Tigers were ranked No. 14 in last week's Class A Division II poll.

Jacksonville (No. 12 in 4A), Pleasant Grove (No. 17 in 3A), White Oak (No. 2 in 2A), Tatum (No. 4 in 2A), and Palestine Westwood (No. 17 in 2A) all kept their previous rankings. The same went for No. 3 Grapeland, No. 6 Cayuga, No. 8 San Augustine, and No. 11 LaPoynor in 1A Division I, and No. 12 Saltillo  in 1A Division II.

Tenaha (17-3) moved up five spots to No. 17 in 1A D-I, while Broaddus (24-3) fell six spots to No. 24.

In 1A D-II, No. 7 Oakwood (12-5) moved ahead of No. 10 Laneville.
