Grand Saline and New Boston jumped into the Texas Girls Coaches Association's Class 2A rankings, which were released Monday morning.

The two additions to the 2A poll give East Texas six ranked teams in that classification and 18 total.

No. 8 Troup leads the region's 2A contingent, followed by No. 16 Central Heights, No. 21 Sabine, No. 22 Grand Saline, No. 23 Winnsboro, and New Boston, which was tied with Vanderbilt Industrial for 25th.
