The Eustace Bulldogs are bound for the playoffs for the first time since 2013, and senior quarterback Alejandro Sanchez has been at the forefront of their success this season.

Last week, Sanchez turned in his best performance of the year in Eustace's 31-26 win over Dallas Madison is the regular-season finale.

Sanchez ran the ball 39 times for 312 yards and a touchdown, and added 64 yards and a touchdown through the air. For his efforts, Sanchez is the Queen Offensive Player of the Week.

He follows last week's winner, John Tyler receiver Ke'Andre Street.

Sanchez has now rushed for 1,066 yards and 15 touchdowns this season. He and his Eustace (3-7) teammates face Bonham in the first round of the Class 3A Division I playoffs this week. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday from Mesquite's Hanby Stadium. Queen Offensive Players of the Week
