New Boston’s Cade Fant is the ETSN.fm + Dairy Queen Defensive Player of the Week

Cade Fant was all over the field for New Boston on Friday.

He finished with 17 tackles, five for loss, one sack and a forced fumble in the Lions' 44-32 victory against Sabine. He is the ETSN.fm + Dairy Queen Player of the Week for his performance.

He follows Longview's Jalen Carr, who won the award in Week 10.

Fant's effort helped New Boston to its first victory this season. The Lions will be home this Friday for their final game of the season against White Oak.
