Mineola senior quarterback Jeremiah Crawford has one more game left to play in his illustrious high school career. He put together a huge performance last Friday night to make sure it ended in the state championship game.

Crawford ignited Mineola's 50-8 semifinal rout of Wall by rushing for 260 yards and four touchdowns, which sent the Yellowjackets to their second Class 3A Division I title game in three seasons.

For his efforts, Crawford is the ETSN.fm/Dairy Queen Offensive Player of the Week. He follows last week's winner, Gilmer quarterback Aaron "Poppy" Brown.

Crawford, who added 53 passing yards for the game, scored three times in the first half on runs of 11, 1, and 16 yards to help Mineola build a 30-0 halftime lead.

The 'Jackets signal-caller and senior running back Chantz Perkins accounted for all 390 rushing yards and seven touchdowns in Mineola's blowout victory.

For the season, Crawford has rushed for 2,568 yards and 41 touchdowns, while passing for 868 yards and 15 scores. Over his four-year career at Mineola, Crawford has 141 career touchdowns, including 101 on the ground.

Crawford and Mineola (13-2) face Yoakum for the 3A Division I crown at 8 p.m. Thursday from AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

The 'Jackets are seeking redemption after dropping the 2014 title game to Cameron Yoe, 70-40, and falling to evenutal 2015 champion Brock, 38-22, in the semifinals last year.
